Speaking Task 2

Talking About a Personal Experience

In Speaking Task 2 you are asked to talk about something that happened to you. You get 30 seconds to prepare and 60 seconds to speak.

The marker is listening for one specific memory, not a general description. Pick a single occasion you can actually picture, say when and where it happened, and include one moment you remember clearly. The two examples below are different kinds of memory, and both are built the same way.

Which experience?

Pick the one closest to your own question.

The hard part is naming the thing in your first sentence instead of circling it.

This is the format you will see on test day.
