Giving Advice
In Speaking Task 1 you are given a situation where somebody you know needs help, and you talk to them and give advice. You get 30 seconds to prepare and 90 seconds to speak, which is the longest speaking turn on the test alongside Task 7.
Ninety seconds is a lot to fill. Two or three specific tips, each with a reason, will carry you much further than one general idea said three ways. Talk to the person rather than about them, and let it sound like speech rather than an essay read aloud.
