Starting the call
2Say who you are and why you are calling, in one breath. The opening is the only part of this task you can prepare word for word. Getting it out quickly leaves you the rest of the minute for the thing itself.
Saying what you have found
5Get the thing in front of your listener before you describe it. Detail without a subject is hard to hold. One sentence saying what you have come across gives your listener somewhere to put everything that follows.
